Hassan is an audit expert with extensive experience in auditing multi-asset class transactions and a track record of advising large funds on managing investment risk.

He is currently Vice President International Investments Audit at the Public Investment Fund.

His experience includes Manager Financial Risk Advisory at EY, Manager Internal Audit at Alberta Investment Management Corporation and Senior Manager Assurance and Advisory at CPP Investments. He has also held the position of Director Investment Due Diligence at CPP Investments. His early career included positions as Manager Portfolio Control at The National Investor, Manager Investment Administration at Emirates International Investment Company and Finance and Risk Controller at Royal Capital PJSC.

Hassan was previously on the board of ISACA, a global association that provides IT professionals with credentials and training in audit, governance and risk management, and on the board of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA).
