Board and Committee Member

Hassan is an audit executive with extensive experience in auditing multi-asset class transactions, with a proven track record of helping large funds manage investment risk.

He is currently Vice President International Investment Audit at the Public Investment Fund (PIF).

Prior to joining PIF, Hassan held senior positions at major international institutional investors, including Canada Pension Plan Investments (CPPI), where he was Director of Investment Due Diligence, and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), where he served as Manager of Internal Audit.

Hassan has held board positions with ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers' International Association).

He is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) of Canada. He has obtained various certificates including certificate in International Financial Reporting Standard, certificate in Company Direction and is designated as a Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
